CULTURE BUMP

Each day, human interaction in every arena is influenced by individual responses to differences. Our positive, negative or neutral reactions are evident in the conflicts and violence that result from decisions made in response to differences in politics, education, religion, socio-economics, gender, nationality and ethnicity.

Now …

Imagine learning to use any of these differences as a way to connect with others and to guide them to do the same?

Culture Bump training makes this possible not only for individual students, but also for schools, universities, businesses, governments, hospitals, religious institutions, the military, political parties, neighborhood groups--any circumstance in which people are confronted with “Others”.

The Culture Bump Approach® is an engaging and interactive process that teaches transformation of “culture bumps” or differences with others into authentic relationships.  It includes a method that teaches negotiation of new insights into one’s own character or culture and leads to an exploration of  “why” humans are different while affirming “how” we are the same. Culture Bump, designed originally as an outreach program for American high school students, has been successfully applied to global audiences –North American, Asian, African, European, Middle Eastern, and Latin American-ranging from university audiences, Fortune 500 corporate clients and governments to kindergartners.
